Short Summary Description of the VirtualPBX™

We give you an 800/888/877 number which becomes your main business number. (If you already have an 800 number, we can use yours. You can also use a local number.)

We give an extension to each employee. The extensions are not tied to telephones or copper wire; they are virtual and exist on the computer. In each extension are stored telephone numbers where the extension owner can be reached. These numbers can be any kind of telephone: business, home, cell, hotel, anywhere in the world.

When one of your customers calls your main business number and is hooked to an extension, the computer looks in the extension and begins to call the numbers stored there, one after another, until the extension owner is reached or the caller goes to Voice Mail.

The system also has queues such as Sales, Support, Accounting, etc. Queues are for customers who know what they want but don't know whom they want and are a must for most businesses. Any number of extension owners can log into a queue and take calls to that queue on a "round-robin" basis. All extensions logged into a queue can talk at the same time. ACD queues can also form the basis of a call center where the agents can work from home.

These are only the basics of the system. The VirtualPBX has many other features. In fact it has all of the features of the most expensive hardware PBX switches. (See the General Description, the Features page, the Usage Scenarios, or the Special Features for Large Companies, for example.)

We use our own phone system. Call us to experience how it works.
